APRIL'S PROJECT FOR DAY 1 + 2: On Wings of Hope ~ Guardian Angel

Inspired by the Art Angels in our lives who have nurtured our creative spirits & taught us that using our hands to share our gifts is part of a legacy of love! We will be exploring each of our creative influences while creating a physical representation of those stories. Who’s words of encouragement have echoed deep in your soul & breathed life into our wings of hope?

Oh the techniques... wire wrapping, painting, antiquing and learning a variety of ways to age wood, paper & fabric. These cherished angels will have vintage soul & serve as a beautiful reminder of your guardian angel watching over you.

DONNA'S PROJECT FOR DAY 3: Sacred Prayer Pin

Guest Artist Donna Authenreith of Henny Penny’s Boutique will be visiting all the way from PA to teach us how to make her textural Prayer Pins! So gather your favorite vintage charms & mementos as well as fabric scraps and bits of ephemera. Donna will show us how to stitch a wearable work of art ~ a textural talisman that symbolizes the blessings in our lives.

10:00am - Angel Workshop Continues (Instruction with April Lozevski)

12:30-1:30pm - Break for Lunch

1:30-4:30pm - Sacred Prayer Pin Workshop with Donna Authenreith

5:00pm - Studio Closes

9:30am - Studio will open

10:00am - Workshop continues with finishing touch demos & free creative time

11:30pm - Light Brunch + Snacks

1:30pm - Workshop wraps for the day

2:00pm - Share + Tell

3:00pm - Workshop Concludes

The Creative Center is only a 7 mile drive from the airport.

HOTELS + LODGING: The closest hotels are The Hilton Garden Inn, Hyatt Place & Scottsdale Marriott, all in Old Town Scottsdale. These are within one mile of the studio & plenty of restaurants, shopping & activities within walking distance!
